We are honoured to welcome Sam Cawthorn as our Keynote Speaker for the ACBA Awards 2026.

Sam Cawthorn knows what it means to build something out of nothing and to rise when everything tells you to stay down. In 2006, a catastrophic car accident left him clinically dead, his right arm amputated, and his right leg permanently damaged. Doctors told him he might never walk again. Within a year, he was back on his feet and within a few years, he was standing on stages across the world.

Today, Sam is the CEO and Founder of Speakers Institute and Speakers Tribe, a global authority in communication and influence, and the author of 11 books – including five international bestsellers. He has keynoted in over 50 countries and shared the stage with Michelle Obama, Simon Sinek, and the Dalai Lama. He has been recognised as both Young Australian of the Year and Edupreneur of the Year and has spoken at the United Nations and keynoted for over 40% of all Fortune 500 companies.

But what makes Sam the perfect keynote for this room isn't just his résumé. It's his message. Sam understands that true influence is built on character — that the leaders who endure are the ones who lead from the inside out.
